Ain't it GrEaT Brooklyn's 8!

Brooklyn's having a birthday SHOUT HOORAY!

This has been a highly anticipated birthday. She just beams when she talks about her baptism that is coming up in May. In honor of her 8 wonderful years on this earth, here are 8 random things about our Brookin' dawg!

{She is a closet goof ball} She is Miss "Don't make a Peep" around others because she is shy, but get her home and she bust out all kinds of cRaZy!! She makes the funniest faces, sings some laugh-out-loud made up songs (at the top of her lungs) and does it with one heck of an impersonation (she has a mean twang).

{She is a girly girl} Loves to fix hair, wear jewelry, put on lip gloss and walk around in Mom's high heels.

{She loves to play with her sisters} She probably won't admit it to you, but she does. She can't get enough of school apparently and comes home (grabs my shoes) and plays school with her sisters. She plays "church" on Sundays.

{Katelynn + Brooklyn = BFF!} Not a big secret to most of you that these two girls are joined at the hip! It is really an unbelievable relationship and it comes with matching outfits!

{Loves Music and loves to Sing} All my girls do. There is not one day that passes that our house is not graced with some type of music whether it is the sweet voices of my little chicas or singing/dancing to a t.v. show or CD. Ryan can't do anything without a little music in the background and I used to sing non stop as a kid. She most definitely gets it honest!

{Such a helper...disclaimer:when she wants to be} She can be a wonderful help to her family. She has grown up quite a bit over these past couple of years. When we use to ask her to help, she would say that her tummy hurt and that she better go to bed. One of my favorite stories and my Dad's, was a night we were having family home evening and my Dad looked at Brooklyn and said, "Brooklyn, how does it make you feel when you have to help your Mommy and Daddy?", to which her reply was, "It makes me sick!" She still has her moments, but she is so sweet with her little sisters and helps them make their dinner plates, reads to them and plays with them from the time she gets home to the time she goes to bed. They love her for it. I don't think she realizes what a help that is.

{Sleeping Beauty} From birth, the kid could sleep! She is the first one that wants to go to bed. You can tell when she is done. She started sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old and the rest has been heaven every since. As a toddler she would go to her crib and shake the bars when she was ready for a nap. She was a rocker too. She would sit in baby bouncers and stationary chairs and rock herself to sleep.

{CTR} Sometimes she needs helped along, but all in all Brooklyn does her best to Choose the Right. She is quite the example to her friends and her family. She is a good girl and for that and so many more reasons we LOVE you!

We hope you have a SUPER day!
