8th birthdays are pretty special. They must be, it seems like we have been celebrating Brooklyn's for weeks! We had gone out for the birthday breakfast to celebrate Katelynn's and Brookie's birthday and then on her actual birthday we went out for some more fun with Mary. Mary and Brooklyn share a birthday. Since my friend Cristi and I have shared so much, how fitting was it to have daughters born on the same day!

Brooklyn took mini cupcakes to share with her school class. PAR-TAY!
Katelynn came home with us after school to join in the festivities!
We grabbed some pizza & drinks and headed on our way to the movie theatre.

Waiting to go into catch the movie we hit up the arcade.

We went to "Monsters vs. Aliens" in 3D. It was such a cute movie and we were the only ones in the theatre! We rented the place out ;0) Only the best for our girls! It was nice to be able to let the kids roam from seat to seat and not worry about noise. It was a free for all and it was a fun time!

The birthday girls!

After the movie the kids frolicked in the water! (Cue squeals of delight)

Then it was off to Dairy Queen for ice cream and presents. When we got there it was a full house. By the time we sat down with our ice cream, the place had cleared out and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves, again! Sweet!
Brooklyn loves playing school so she got a load of school stuff to get her little "home school" up and running. She also was so excited to get $ from several people this year. She really was thrilled about all she was able to do and the things she got. Now we are anticipating the next big milestone in a few weeks...baptism!

That's cool that you and Crit have kid bdays on the same day! (It's Crit, right?) Where is that fun water thingy? I need some frolicking in my life. :0)
She looks so much like Ryan's mom to me. She's got such a perfect little face. She's just so cute. She looks darling with those braids!
So glad you guys had a FUN night! Thank you for letting Katelynn be a part!!
