Kristen is one smart little lady! She will be in the Spelling Bee on the 19th and participated in the Battle of the Books today. The Battle of the Books is a competition against all her peers. They are given a list of book titles at the beginning of the year and they are asked random questions about the books listed. They took 3rd Place! She got this lovely t-shirt, a book of her choice, a ribbon and gets a pizza party next week. Kristen is also in E.L.P. (Extended Learning Program) where she is pulled from her class once a week and is placed in a class where they do experiments and do alot of extra activities that challenge them a little more. I am so proud of how hard she works and how dedicated she is to learning.
